Janelle's story
Janelle was born at our shelter in April 2018. When she was three months old she started to have balance issues, she would bob her head while walking and also walk in circles. After a month of meds, exams, tests, and monitoring she was diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. There is not a cure for her disorder but her condition won't get worse and luckily she can live a normal life. The condition also affects her decision making. She is unable to understand dangerous situations which could lead to injuries. Janelle is also deaf.
Now to get to her purrsonality! Janelle is very sweet. She has the loudest purr you will ever hear. She loves to cuddle and lay on your lap. She is very playful and enjoys climbing on the bed for a good snuggle. She absolutely loves dogs, does well with other cats, and would be good with older children. She deserves to have her furever home that can look past her disabilities.
Janelle is currently relaxing in a foster home until her furever home comes around. If you think you would make Janelle's perfect match please contact the shelter to arrange a meet and greet.
